How to Setup your Online Store



Parkmalls Setup Notes

Whether you are a professional full time shop owner Parkmalls.com is a great place to sell your products online!

Parkmalls.com was developed to make online selling an affordable option for all store and business owners.

Store Owners who have space on Parkmalls.com are responsible for the listing, photographing and shipping of their own items using a password protected area of the website. A full list of instructions will be made available so that everything is easy to understand. Parkmalls.com takes care of the rest!


Fees

Parkmalls.com does not charge Store Owners for joining.


Commission Rates

There is a commission fee for items sold on Parkmalls.com

These fees are

20% on the goods value of EUR 100
15% on the goods value of EUR 250
10% on the goods value of EUR 500 plus

You can choose to operate your store in any currencies and sell only within certain countries. There are several shipping options available or you can opt to setup your own shipping provider and rates.

Payment for all goods sold is payable to Parkmalls.com and at the end of each month Parkmalls.com transfers payments to Store Providers for all the goods sold.


Canceling Your Account

Should you wish to cancel your account with Parkmalls.com you may do so at any time. If you cancel your account, all of your information will be deleted from the system.


Payments

Payment for items sold will be sent out on the end of each month. All sales from the prior month including sales tax and shipping. If you prefer to be paid by Paypal, payment for items sold including sales tax and shipping can be electronically transferred within 48 hours to your Paypal account.


Temporary Store Closing

You may temporarily close your store by making a request to us. This must be done in an email to us before your store will be temporarily closed. IF YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO SHIP GOODS TO CUSTOMERS, PLEASE CLOSE YOUR SHOP!

Temporary closings are used for vacations or other times when you wish to not sell on Parkmalls.com. During your temporary closing, your store information, items for sale and all other aspects of your account are still intact, but are not available for public viewing.


Shipping and Taxes and Store Policies

Shipping fees and Sales tax are the responsibility of each individual store owner and are calculated according to values set up in the Store Owner/Provider area of your store.


How Visitors Can Shop For Your Items

Visitors will select from categories in the menu and can be taken to a page with further sub-categories as available.

Visitors to Parkmalls.com can use several great features of the website including being able to zoom in on hi-resolution images, adding items to their “wish list”, emailing item listings to friends and more.


Things to Consider Before Deciding to List on Parkmalls.com

• The internet is not a predictable market. Parkmalls.com cannot guarantee that you will make sales from selling on this website. However as we offer this service for free and you are only paying a commission on goods sold there is limited risks.

• Do not expect that anything will happen overnight! Opening any store or business takes commitment and patience from the start – and this goes double for the internet! While we make every effort to optimize this website for the best possible placement in search engines, it can take quite some time for the major search engines to index your items, and it is not possible to know where these items will place in the searches when they do.

• Do not expect for sales to always be steady. In any kind of business there are periods when sales are great and times when is slow. These turns may be influenced by many factors including the time of year, the economy, and other factors.

• It does take time to develop a loyal following of clients. People will return to your store when they know and respect you and your products. If you act professionally, and your product is a quality product, they will trust you as a valuable resource and will be more likely to return to your store for more!

• Sales will be affected by your professional image. Store description, quality of photographs and professional description of your items will all factor in to your rate of sales.


Professional Conduct

Whether you are a full time store owner or a new startup the customers to Parkmalls.com view your shop as a business. As a shop owner, you are expected to run your store professionally including checking your email regularly, responding to customers inquiries, and shipping your orders for products in a timely manner. If it is found that your shop is not acting professionally, you will be asked to leave this service as you will be hurting the other Parkmalls.com businesses who are participating in a professional manner.


Vacations, Illness or other time off.

If you are not going to be around to check your emails, send orders, or take care of your business for an extended amount of time, you may request that your store be temporarily suspended. Please note that during this time, your shop and products will not be available on Parkmalls.com. Upon your return, your store will be enabled again and all of the products that were previously entered will be available again.


A Word on Copyrights, Designs and Pricing

Do not copy the designs, ideas, or descriptions of other shop owners. Keep your items priced fairly. Research the market to be sure that your pricing is appropriate and competitive.

Those found abusing any part of this service will be removed from Parkmalls.com immediately. This decision is at the sole discretion of the owner of Parkmalls.com. Refunds are not available to those who are removed from the service due to misconduct or abuse of the system. If you suspect abuse, please contact Parkmalls.com.


Parkmalls.com Standard of Quality

If the quality of items, photographs or descriptions of items, or your business conduct including shipping practices, contact with customers and other quality factors does not meet the quality of standards of Parkmalls.com, you may be asked to leave the service. This is at the sole discretion of Parkmalls.com.


Selling on Your Own Store or on another Online Store

You may be using Parkmalls.com in addition to other venues to sell your items. This is perfectly acceptable; however we ask that you keep up with your inventory on Parkmalls.com. If an item that you have listed on Parkmalls.com becomes unavailable, please remove it from your inventory immediately! We need to keep all of our customers happy and not having an item in stock that the customer has purchased makes for a very unhappy customer which reflects poorly on everyone at Parkmalls.com.


Changes to Parkmalls.com

Parkmalls.com will be an ever evolving project. It will develop with markets and opportunities. Should a category or subcategory not exist for your particular product, please contact Parkmalls.com for consideration for inclusion on the website.


Banner Advertising

Parkmalls.com offers banner advertising within certain sections of the Parkmalls.com website. Banner advertising will be pre paid and offer an additional opportunity for Store owners/Providers to showcase their products.
